| How can I reach a guest at the Resort? |
If calling from off property, dial (705) 789-6411, and the Operator will connect you to the guest's room. If calling from a resort phone, simply dial 7 plus the room number; if you do not know the room number, dial "0" and the Operator will connect you to the guest's room. |
| How close is the nearest town for groceries? |
Huntsville is 13 km from Deerhurst Resort, and has several large grocery stores including Robinson's Independent Grocers and A&P as well as a vibrant downtown, mall and other retail attractions. |
| Am I allowed pets on property? |
Pets are not permitted at Deerhurst Resort. Two nearby kennels are: Happy Tails (705) 789-9181 which offers special rates to Deerhurst guests, and The Doggie Motel (705) 789-7380

| How far is Deerhurst Resort from Toronto? |
Deerhurst Resort is approximately 235 kilometres north of Toronto. Drive time is about 2-1/2 hours. See "About Us" for directions. |
| What is the average temperature? |
During summer temperatures generally range from 25 to 30 degrees Celsius. Winter temperature in Muskoka usually ranges from - 10 to 0 degrees Celsius. |
| When are the fall colours? |
The fall colors usually appear from mid-September through to the week of the Canadian Thanksgiving (the first Monday in October). |
| What does the meal plan include? |
| The adult meal plan is a Modified American Plan, and includes a buffet breakfast and three course table d'hote dinner at resort restaurants (excluding room service). Alcoholic beverages are not included. If you are at the resort on Sunday and wish to have Sunday brunch a $9 surcharge will apply. The meal plan must be purchased for each day of your stay. Due to the range of ages and appetites, Deerhurst Resort does not offer a meal plan for children. However, children (12 and under) accompanying adults who have purchased the meal plan
eat breakfast buffet and dinner free off the children's menus in both Eclipse and our new eatery, Maple.

| How many pools do you have? |
Deerhurst Resort has one indoor pool open year round, along with three outdoor pools open seasonally. |
| How late is the Front Desk Open? |
The Front Desk at Deerhurst Resort is open 24 hours a day. |
| What do the kitchenettes offer? |
The Junior Suite kitchenettes offer a microwave, stovetop, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle and all essential kitchen dishes and utensils for up to four people. The kitchens in our Deluxe and Luxury suites are larger and include a full oven with stove-top range, cookware and full size refrigerator. |
| How far in advance should I book my activity reservations? |
To avoid disappointment, you should book all activities at Deerhurst Resort as early as possible, ideally when you make your accommodation reservation. Your reservations agent will direct your booking inquiry, or you can contact our one-stop Activity Reservation Desk for all your dining, show, golf, spa and activity bookings.
