- Dorset Fire Tower Scenic Lookout – sweeping views of the surrounding lakes!
- Oxtongue River – Ragged Falls – one of the top 10 waterfalls in Ontario
- Arrowhead Provincial Park – Just 10 minutes from Deerhurst explore Stubbs Falls trails and the Big Bend trail with National Geographic-worthy views of the winding river far below
- And last but certainly not least – Algonquin Park! Park access may be limited on weekends during fall colour season – best to visit midweek. Great spots – Hardwood Lookout Trail and Track and Tower Trail.
Important Notes for visiting Arrowhead and Algonquin Provincial Park
- Day use vehicle park passes are required and must be booked in advance. Park permits can sell out during busier times so be sure to book in advance. Reserve here.
- Visit Monday – Friday for best availability
There is also access to the Trans Canada Trail nearby!
