Town of Huntsville Canada Day Celebrations
July 1st
head downtown to River Mill Park to soak in the festive atmosphere with more family fun and great live music! It all gets underway at 12:00 p.m. with interactive games and activities for all ages, local vendors including our Gold Sponsor, Lake of Bays Brewing Company, and live free entertainment throughout the event.
The music continues into the evening with a Concert on the Dock performance by HTC Canadian Cabaret from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
End the day with our spectacular fireworks show over Hunters Bay at 10:00 p.m., weather permitting.
Huntsville’s Art Crawl
Daily
Enjoy a free self-guided art tour in and around downtown Huntsville. Throughout the summer, create your own free art crawl experience by touring local businesses, galleries and studios which feature exhibits, demos and interactive experiences by local artists. Pick up a Passport from any participating business and collect stickers as you go! Collected at least 5 stickers, to be entered in a draw for a fabulous prize package.
Group of Seven Outdoor Mural Tours
Every Tuesday & Sunday
The Group of Seven Outdoor Gallery is a year-round, free public art exhibition featuring 103 recreations of iconic works by the Group of Seven and Tom Thomson. The Main Gallery in downtown Huntsville showcases 38 striking murals displayed on the exterior walls of local buildings.

Join us for a 45-minute guided tour every Tuesday at 6 pm and every Sunday at 1pm from June to August. Our knowledgeable guides will share the stories behind selected murals, the artists who created them, and their powerful connection to Muskoka’s landscape and Huntsville’s artistic heritage.
Want to get hands-on?
Stay after the tour for a 60-minute painting class led by a local artist. You’ll receive all materials—paint, brushes, and an 8×10 canvas—and step-by-step guidance to create your own Group of Seven-inspired masterpiece.
Huntsville Farmers Market
Every Thursday from 9 AM – 2 PM
Located at the spacious Huntsville Fairgrounds, you’ll find an impressive array of vendors selling everything from fresh fish, chicken, turkey, pork, and beef to artisanal cheeses, inspected eggs, and goat products including cheese, butter, and yogurt. The market also features specialty vendors like Pivot Coffee Roaster with their ethically sourced, small-batch roasted beans, Spy Cider House & Distillery offering organic crafted ciders, and I’d Tap That Maple Syrup with their creative maple syrup infusions including spicy hot pepper and vanilla bean varieties.
HMBA Weekly Group Rides
Every Thursday @ 6:30 PM, Starts June 4th
Join the HMBA on THURSDAY nights in the summer for group rides on the Hidden Valley & Deerhurst trails. Show up and ride at any time, then meet back at the parking lot for the social. The ride is open to all genders and abilities. To participate in group rides, make sure that you have a valid HMBA membership or one day pass!
Concerts on the Docks
Every Wednesday
Enjoy live music every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm throughout July and August and experience all genres of music from country to jazz, folk to indie, bluegrass to big band. Bring a lawn chair or grab a seat in the park overlooking the Muskoka River as amazing musicians and performers take the stage at Town Dock Park in downtown Huntsville. Don’t forget to bring a donation for the band!
SWS Waterski Show
Every Thursday, Starting July 9th
Spend your Thursday evenings on the main beach at Deerhurst Resort watching a free water ski show at 7pm. Fourteen skiers and a flyboard demonstration on Peninsula Lake— no tickets needed, just show up!
Waterfront Farmers Market
Every Sunday from 10 AM – 2 PM
New for 2026, Downtown Huntsville’s very own waterfront farmers market! Every sunday stroll through the towns historical downtown and head down to the docks to shop local vendors of fresh produce, craft goodies, and other delicious items.
HMBA Weekly Race Series

HMBA will be covering insurance costs, so NO Ontario Cycling license is required! Registration and cash payment on site! Tuesday @ Lance’s Loops – Check-In and Pre-Ride at 6-6:45pm, Race at 7:00pm. Be sure to check our Instagram page for the ride location and updates on any cancellations.
A waiver must be completed by every participant before racing.

Nuit Blanche North

INTERACTIVE STREET FESTIVAL BACK FOR THE 14TH YEAR
A signature summer event in the region, Nuit Blanche North (NbN) is a bold and interactive multi-arts street festival that transforms Downtown Huntsville into a vibrant hub of artistic discovery. For one night only, from 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM, audiences will experience a captivating lineup of contemporary artistic activities, performances, and installations presented in unexpected public and private spaces throughout the downtown core.
Presented with generous support from TD Bank Group and the Province of Ontario, NbN invites both artists and audiences to explore, discover, debate, and participate in contemporary art in new and engaging ways.
Rotary NyDock Dock Fest
July 11th
Get ready for an unforgettable day at the Rotary NyDock Dockfest! This exciting event brings the community together for a one-of-a-kind celebration featuring the thrilling Bathtub Derby, where teams race motorized bathtubs on the Muskoka River. With live music, delicious food, family-friendly activities, and unique entertainment, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Best of all the event supports local community causes, making it the perfect way to have fun while giving back.
Peca Farm: Petting Farm
Every Thursday & Friday, plus long weekend Saturdays
Enjoy a hands on adventure as you meet Peca Farm’s animal family! You will have lots of opportunities to pet animals inside the barn and outside! There are outdoor games, wagon rides (weather dependent), a weekly kids activity, and tons of photo opportunities for the whole family. Bring along some quarters to use in the feed machines for the animals.
